...and as the proposal/fiat/whatever-it-is specifies that there will be no testing for the lowlies it makes any server-use of sparcs, mipses, alphas or s390s moot. if no releases to base your environment on are available, then you need at least some resemblence of "time tested" packages to consider running stuff on a server.
