while i am not the maintainer of the debian oid arch, i wrote an
unofficial debian package schema some time back for an packages->LDAP
gateway i threw together[1]. at the time there didn't seem to be much
interest by other people, so i haven't worked on it in several months.

[1] which could hypthetically allow apt-get update to only need to fetch
changed package entries instead of the entire Packages.gz, among other
neat features.
