Wow! Thanks a lot for putting this library together. I think that is what we all have waited for. I want to make it policy, that every mailer package (and other packages that need looking, too) has to use this package. Therefore, a few steps are necessary now: 1. Someone else should review/test the lib if it's working well concerning all possible NFS situations. 2. The functions should be documented in a few lines. A shared library should be provided and all should be packaged up in a `.deb' 3. I'll make the necessary changes to the policy manual and present it here for discussion. 4. Someone (Karl?) should check the existing Perl module if it is compatible to this library and adopt it if necessary. This should be packaged up, too. Anyways, _many_ thanks for writing this lib!
