As Steve already stated, it might put some extra load on those people. Beside that I think that they wouldn't care at all about those bugs - as they do right now about answering emails to let the maintainers know what's happening (or not). Anyway, I think that it would be a good idea to have somewhere a place where people can check whether a problem with the buildds is already reported or not.
