Why do our views need to be bent? There are only just over 200 countries listed in the CIA world fact book, of those countries there are a much smaller number of sets that have legal differences that matter to us. There may be as few as 20-30 different groups of countries if we group by laws that matter to us. We could have ftp.debian.XX (where XX is the country code) be a cname pointing to a server that only has packages that match the laws and standards of the country in question.
