I just ran across this problem as well. I have a PCI bus with a DPT RAID board and a 3COM ethernet board trying to share IRQ 11. There were no software options or hardware jumpers to change the IRQ selection.
To solve the problem, I moved the ethernet board to a different empty slot. TA DA!
