Debian IS doing just fine. The woody release is, in what directly
concerns me, a non-issue since I upgrade all available packages every
day, and every day there are any number of packages, from a few to a few
dozen, available for upgrade.

That's my meter, and it shows a living and thriving distribution that
makes me feel confident about my system, something I've only started to
feel after switching to Debian Linux.
