I intent to package the nbd utilities by Pavel Machek, that support the Network Block Device in the Linux Kernel. This block device is essentially a disk server-protocol, which makes it possible to do swapping over TCP/IP, or use the device as a filesystem when NFS or other Network Filesystem Protocols are not sufficient for some reason.
