Deborphan is nearly perfect for this. Right now, it just keeps track of whether a package was installed to satisfy a dependancy, or because you really want it. If instead of the y/n question it uses for this, it asked _why_ you want a package, and stored the result, there would be much interesting data to munge. -- see shy jo
