This is a new upstream release of tar. Thanks to Erick Branderhorst, we've now got NLS enabled, and a few other tweaks.
Erick uploaded a -1 version that included /bin/rmt, which we had agreed would not be provided by the tar package. This -2 version fixes that, and makes a few other small tweaks to the documentation, etc. If you installed the -1 version, please upgrade to this version ASAP. Much bug-fix work has been done to tar since the version that is included with 1.1, but this rev hasn't been very thoroughly tested, so caveat emptor!
