disk: 1440_boot_floppy & 1440_root_floppy

I am attampting to load debian linux on my tandy 4000 (386dx, 4mb RAM,
80mb SCSI ... Monochrome Monitor (MDA)) ...
The boot procedure works fine up till the point the debian screen should
appear (toggle mode, novice/custom, etc.), after the init script ...
I then get the error 'error opening terminal : linux' ... I belive this
is due to my extermely cheap MDA monitor (0.93R6 instalation works fine
on my Epson laptop) where I think the startup screen is not taking into
account my monitor ...
Any help would be appreceated ... Wm. Sean Murray
