hi, as far as i can tell, PCMCIA support is not present in the boot kernel -- i've tried 0.93R6 and 1.0 (from InfoMagic) -- of the bootstrapping disks. this is a drag for people with Notebooks and PCMCIA ethernet cards or SCSI+CDROMs, and it seems other distributions (Slackware and RedHat that i know of) have support for PCMCIA in their boot kernels.
if i'm right, would you please consider adding PCMCIA support; if i'm wrong, please let me know :) how do i get access to the development directory at ftp.debian.org? bye, -- Bjørn Stabell <mailto::[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <http://www.cc.uit.no/~bjoerns/> <fax:+4777644100>
