Please keep in mind:
ncurses 1.9.7a searches the terminfo entries in
- $HOME/.terminfo or, if set in $TERMINFO
and then in
- /etc/terminfo (this is the debian-special for /usr/lib/terminfo)The first could provide a scheme for startup (/usr not mounted) without hacking the sources further. mfg Rolf Rossius
