If you're looking for input, I might request that you release two versions of the Mach32 Server --- one that is just like the normal XFree86 server and one that doesn't have its brain-damaged assumption that no Mach32 cards can run in 1024x768x16bpp. I can provid the patch information---it's a documented bug.
