Hi Ian. I love being on the debian-announce-list. But I must admit, that the packagedescriptions generally lack. I am sure that there are packages - which I might find handy - but have not installed simply because I do not know what this package does. I am sure this goes for a fair share of the debian-announce-readers, too. Therefore it would be nice if maintainers included a description of the package in the announcement. This could just be the LSM-entry that follows the non-package version. Since you (as far as I know) are the headorganizer of Debian I hereby give you this idea.
