The problem shows up when the «From:» gets copied to the «Reply-To:» on the BTS side, the latter gets double encoded, as can be seen from the maintainer mail box from bug #692100: <http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?mboxmaint=yes;mbox=yes;bug=692100> The «To:» in my replies there are fine, because I corrected them manually. Another recent bug report could be #693922. I'm assuming this is the same issue, if not, I can open up a new bug report, if you wish. A related problem that I don't think can be easily fixed is that whenever someone has replied with one of the bogus «Reply-To:» fields the received mail will be stored misencoded on the BTS.
