Would it be a sensible compromise to reassign this bug to d-i tagging it
RC for buster to make sure a Blends menu will exist in the buster
installer. I admit I'm frustrated as well but it does not really matter
for me whether I'm waiting 14 (first bug report about this was #186085
in 2003) or 16 years until a good idea gets implemented preserving me
from continuously explaining that Blends are inside Debian and not
outside.
