Hi all,
following up after our recent IRC meeting [0], let's hereby formalize
our seat-filling process.
First, here's the fresh §6.2.7 of our constitution:
> 6.2.7 Term limit:
> On January 1st of each year the term of any Committee member who has
> served more than 42 months (3.5 years) and who is one of the two most
> senior members is set to expire on December 31st of that year.
To keep track of this, I've added members.csv at the root of our git
repository.
As it stands, we are currently one seat away from filling all of our
eight seats (§6.2.1); our longest serving members are Andreas [1] (4 Jan
2006) and Don [1] (2009-01-11); their term will expire on Dec 31 2016.
We should therefore find three new members until the end of this year,
ideally; let's not try to hit §6.2.3 or §6.2.4 !
