I've checked in a preliminary version of a procedures document into git which currently outlines the expectation for chairpersons to vacate the chair after new member appointment and/or within three months of resignation.
I've reproduced it here below; feel free to make changes in git. Appointment of the Chair of the CTTE ------------------------------------ In general, the procedure in ยง6.1.7 should be followed. Re-appointment of chair after membership change =============================================== When new members are appointed to the CTTE or within three months of a member resigning from the CTTE, the current chairperson should announce their intention to vacate the position within two weeks.
