抱歉延迟回复，我想鼓励大家都订使用utf8的统一中文用户列表，但是我担心有历史遗留问题（前面有的邮件谈到技术、文化、个人偏好上的困难），同时考虑到保存一个多样化的中文环境，简单的办法就是保留历史（ 至少50年不变:) )，当然这要看社区资源是否允许这么"浪费"，其实喜欢"纯"简体和繁体的用户也可以设立邮件列表（反正g00g1e等免费提供，他们自己可以选举管理员，我也希望将来加入这些特殊的讨论组）。 订阅2－3个邮件列表对我不是麻烦，我个人没问题。
