tools/generate_firmware_patterns has a workaround for the firmware-sof-signed package that doesn't ship appstream/dep-11 metadata. There, we list a bunch of IDs manually extracted from linux-image-<ABI>-amd64, and that list can become outdated over time. It might be best to get the latest kernel at build time and generate e a fresh list for each build. Failing that, we really should update the list at least once for each major Debian release.
