I have had the same issue that Alain is having and have tried to test the new
image, but without success. I tried to install s390 Wheezy using using the
testing distribution and
the Wheezy copy of the z/VM install files (navigating from
/debian/dists/squeeze/main/installer-s390/current/images/ to
/debian/dists/wheezy/main/installer-s390/current/images/). However the
Wheezy z/VM install does not recognise my CTC network (s390 and s390x) so I am
unable to test the improved s390 ISO image, though it looks right. I installed
squeeze (to the point the checksum failed) from the same user and that finds
the network fine (I am on z/VM 5.4 on a Z9 BC mainframe) and SLES 9 worked fine
with the same configuration, albeit a while ago. Have I missed something or is
this another bug? Is there an older s390 CD/DVD ISO without this problem, as I
would like to get something installed? Michael Kay
