I believe that the problem you have is that this images are old, and the
backup server only holds the files for the current images, not old ones, [...]
I got the .jigdo and .template file from gluck.debian.org and started 
downloading the image on the same day - and had the same problem as 
Benjamin. So I don't think that they were out of date.
