Phil, IIRC you once mentioned (correct me if I'm wrong) that you came
up with some kind of cache to avoid the time-consuming md5summing of
the .debs on the CD.

Could this have led to the errors in the md5sums.txt on the 3.0r0
release CD? If yes, is it fixed now?

This could be made easier now that you can use relative URLs in .jigdo
files. The .jigdo output by jigdo-file can be used without further
modification.
