Hmm.. This might be a very good idea if someone would write the jigdo-mirror script (or point me towards it if it is already done). Also having the jigdo files and md5sums available for mirrors on a separate path from any public cdimage access. If jigdo-mirror doesn't work for everyone, it would probably be a good idea to restrict cdimage access too. Last time (potato release) it was very painful to get the images for us as an official mirror. We will probably have rsync-debcd.acc.umu.se available on hardware separate from ftp.se.debian.org at release time. We can't be sure, but it will work (at worst the same as ftp.se.debian.org) and be the best choice for others to mirror from.
