I actually noticed that and made two more uploads (see http://packages.qa.debian.org/c/codetools.html -- which actually indicates that it got pulled) but I uploaded it with lower version numbers -- so the old package "won", unfortunately. I'll clean that up, either with a new package r-cran-codetools or a fix via epochs. Thanks for the heads up.
