I'm not sure the BTS would be very happy about merging bugs assigned to different packages... Considering this bug only affects the package in some specific situations, I will probably downgrade it to important. And I will leave it assigned to this package, because if I reassign it to wxWidgets and merge, it will only be a couple of weeks before someone else opens the same bug again...
