Package: installation-reports Version: Testing 02.27.2007 weekly build Severity: critical Justification: breaks the whole system
Hi, I had this same issue whilst attempting to install the latest Etch 2/26/07 weekly build using the KDE CD1 with a network mirror. I hunted around /var for a log file, but couldn't find one, although the dpkg log indicated that the last package installed was popularity contest. When I restarted the installation, it restarted from scratch each time. I have reverted to the previous weekly build, which is installing as I write.
