Kontact works fine for me in several machines (unstable/testing). Could you tried to reinstall and see if it works? Are you using some unofficial repository? Did you anything special in your machine that could have produced this problem? Was kontact working fine and suddently stopped to work? I need more info in order to find what is the problem here.
