This seems to be a problem with apt-get's resolver. At least I was able to install prosper this way: # log into fresh chroot apt-get install texlive [...] # now "apt-get install prosper" shows the problem apt-get install texlive-pstricks apt-get install prosper This is not a bug in prosper.
