I tried notifying you. I normally use @packages.debian.org aliases,
but since I learnt recently that PTS subscriptions do not receive these
mails, I started using @packages.qa.debian.org aliases instead. You
can grab the mbox of this bug and see for yourself the X-Debbugs-Cc of
the original report and the Cc in my ping.
Unfortunately, I just browsed the PTS documentation, and saw that I did
not set the X-PTS-Approved headers as required by these addresses.
I'll go setup my MUA to do so, but I doubt that debbugs will ever do
this, so I'll mention this to the PTS maintainer, in case it would be
possible to add a rule allowing debbugs to spam the PTS.
I'm not downgrading the severity of this bug now to prevent transition
of python-defaults to testing before a python-support with the
workaround enters testing.
