Hi grace maintainers, I ran into the above-mentioned bug as well. I realise it is now fixed by adding a dependency to gconf2. However, with this, you are forcing people to install 7.2 MB of stuff, with, as far as I could judge, the only purpose being that a configuration script runs properly. This seems rather excessive!
So my query: Is there any way the configuration can be made independent of gconf-schemas/gconf2? (Obviously, you'll have understood by now I don't use gnome myself...).
