Thomas, On Aug 3rd, you mentioned an intention to NMU mga-vid to fix its pending 317679 RC bug.
I went on that package during a NMU campaign to fix pending l10n issues (much less critical, obviously). Indeed, what I initially intended to do was removing the debconf tempaltes (which are blatant debconf abuse) and therefore close all l10n bug as well as my own bug report to request for removan of the debconf note. My planned NMU also included an obvious fix for #249397. All this makes the attached patch. Would you join that effort ? --
