python-pweave's tests fail with IPython 9 since it tries to import a deprecated and now removed module: IPython.core.inputsplitter (deprecated in IPython 7, removed in 9) (in pweave/processors/jupyter.py). The deprecation is discussed a bit here: https://github.com/ipython/ipython/issues/12419, but it looks like there is not a drop-in replacement, rather some re-engineering of the processor to use ipython's input transformer. Given the last upstream commits were in 2018 it doesn't look like there is any upstream fix available. -- System Information: Debian Release: forky/sid APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Foreign Architectures: i386 Kernel: Linux 6.18.15+deb14-amd64 (SMP w/8 CPU threads; PREEMPT) Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8), LANGUAGE=en_GB:en Shell: /bin/sh linked to /usr/bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system) LSM: AppArmor: enabled
