hi, im not sure if conflicting with bind, bind9 is the best solution here.
AFAIKS the packages do not conflict on a file based way (so could installed on the same host without problems), pdnsd fails to start because the socket is already used by bind's named daemon: * 10/04 15:11:20| pdnsd: error: Could not bind tcp socket: Address already in use * 10/04 15:11:20| pdnsd: error: Could not bind to udp socket: Address already in use * 10/04 15:11:20| pdnsd: error: tcp and udp initialization failed. Exiting. i think there should be a better handling of this in pdnsd's init scripts. bye, - michael -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
