I installed a win11 machine and installed foobar2000 within. Played various music for 2 hours today - to no avail, it Just Works for me. Please post your smb.conf. Also, for anyone who can repro this, please at least post smb.log with log level 5, complete interaction between samba and the client up to the assertion failure.
Bumping severity due to multiple reports of severe breakage.
Curious, what do you expect such severity bump to achieve? I don't know why, and most likely this is something specific to me personally and not typical, - but to me this somewhat decreases my willingness to deal with the issue somewhat. Especially since it works just fine for me and I can't reproduce the issue, while "grave" means the package basically can't be used by anyone. Thanks, /mjt
