Package: socat Version: 1.8.0.2-1 Severity: serious There are several problems with the debian/copyright file:
1) After the OpenSSL exception, the wording "either version 2 of the License, or (at your option) any later version" appears while upstream has "version 2 of the License" 2) The patches applied to the program have to have a compatible license. One might consider them to be part of the Debian packaging, which is licensed under the incompatible GPL-3. Please clarify the patches' licenses. 3) At least a part of socat_buildscript_for_android.sh is licensed under LGPL-2.1+, which is not mentioned. When you fix these issues, please consider making debian/copyright machine-readable.
