Package: sane-utils Version: 1.3.1-2 Severity: grave Justification: renders package unusable
Hello maintainers of sane-utils,When installing 1.3.1-2 on a fresh system, see [1], the following error message is produced:
--- Setting up sane-utils (1.3.1-2) ... Adding saned group and user... fatal: The group `scanner' does not exist. dpkg: error processing package sane-utils (--configure): installed sane-utils package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 12 --- At this moment, this prevents all live images for sid to be built.Should the postinst script check for the presence of the group 'scanner'? [2]
