Yes, gnome-shell 48 Beta is in Experimental. The extension does seem to work in Debian Testing with GNOME Shell 47 so my testing confirms the extension is not yet ready for GNOME Shell 48. I believe it would be best for our users to not upload the extension with the bumped debian/control and metadata.json now but let it be removed from Testing. Users who need that extension could postpone the gnome-shell upgrade because apt would tell them the extension is not installable with gnome-shell 48. You're welcome to reconsider around the end of March when the April 15 deadline is closer. The original Debian bug report here mentioned this: https://gjs.guide/extensions/upgrading/gnome-shell-48.html Thank you, Jeremy Bícha
