Well, texinfo in version 7.1.1 is the archive since 2024-09-16 and this FTBFS is the first one for a longer time. Further the buildd page of sbcl [1] reports that the build works most of the time. Hence I'd rather suspect some kind of bad race condition in the sbcl build system.
