Yeah, XPM icons would have been a bad choice for the desktop-entry file. Do you actually use the menu? Because I am not aware of anything in Debian anymore that uses the old menu stuff anymore, and the Lintian warning "command-in-menu-file-and-desktop-file" advises removing the menu stuff... I think it's okay to keep both, but, if you can have less to maintain, you may actually just stick with the desktop-entry file, everything reads that. Cheers, Matthias -- I welcome VSRE emails.
