Yes, this is being tracked in https://bugs.debian.org/1094442 However, it's reasonable to have a bug that will block the new gtk+3.0 from reaching Testing until that bug is fixed so we can use this one. It may be worth doing a quick NMU to fix that issue. I haven't heard back from Mike Gabriel. Martin Wimpress said he'd look at the issue "later" but I have no idea how long that would take.
