I have checked the underlying architecture of signond and how signon-plugin-password gets loaded. As signon-plugin-password gets loaded into signond itself and we communicate with signond over DBus only, I assume that for lomiri-online-accounts-plugin-owncloud nothing specific has to be done.
So, closing this bug for lomiri-online-accounts-plugin-owncloud for now. We may want to reopen it if my analysis is wrong or incomplete.
