Dear Maintainer,
New upstream releases of gssdp and gupnp 1.6.0 has broken the ABI
and thus bumped the SONAME. A transition is needed.
The new versions are currently stuck in binary-NEW but should hopefully
soon be available in experimental (you can `gbp clone vcsgit:gssdp`,
`gbp clone vcsgit:gupnp` and build them yourself for now if you wish).
Please consider uploading a version of librm to experimental that is
compatible with the new SONAMEs.
The relevant upstream commits to cherry-pick are:
https://gitlab.com/tabos/librm/-/commit/c9aae663ff40c1ab171476652eba68c174d96
https://gitlab.com/tabos/librm/-/commit/a849d9a6a6624d5f3c6a70dd63590d1a2b79d
The relevant bug report for coordinating the transition is #1022003
Unless I've heard from you before the release-team gives the go-ahead
I'll assume you prefer me NMU as needed.
Regards,
Andreas Henriksson
