today I ran a full upgrade of my Debian Testing as part of my daily
routine.
Since then, I cannot run `fortune` anymore. The error message I get is
fortune: symbol lookup error: /lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/librecode.so.0:
undefined symbol: rpl_malloc
Thanks for the report. This was a bug in librecode0 and it has been fixed in
version 3.6-29, available in unstable in a few hours.
BTW: In your bug report there is this line:
APT prefers unstable
Well, this bug never propagated to testing. If you really want to run testing
and not unstable (and be safe from bugs like this one), you might want you
review your APT configuration.
