Package: ifupdown2
Version: 3.0.0-1.1
Severity: grave
Tags: ipv6
Justification: renders package unusable

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation? The upgrade to python3.12 which replaced
"readfp" with "read_file)
   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or ineffective)? I
replaced "readfp" to read_file in /usr/share/ifupdown2/ifupdown/main.py and it
fixed the problem.
   * What was the outcome of this action? ifup and ifdown started working
properly.
