Package: libgis-distance-perl
Severity: grave
On https://metacpan.org/pod/Geo::Distance
is says
Deprecated.
The maintainer of this distribution has indicated that it is deprecated and
no longer suitable for use.
So it is time to remove this package from Debian! Thanks.

Oh wow.
Because Geo::Distance (packaged as libgeo-distance-perl) is
deprecated and is now a wrapper around GIS::Distance (packaged as
libgis-distance-perl) you suggest to remove libgis-distance-perl?
Closing this bug, as 1) you got the wrong package 2) there's nothing
wrong with keeping deprecated modules, especially if there are
wrappers, in Debian.
