I had a brief look on some of the bugs yesterday; I could reproduce them once I (re)moved /etc/timezone in my chroot (tzdata is not installed but the old /etc/timezone is apparently left around). Fixes included either setting TZ for the tests or installing tzdata which recreated /etc/timezone. My suspicion/idea was that it might be useful to have libdatetime-timezone-perl depend on tzdata (now that tzdata is not essential (or whatever it was) any more), as libdatetime-timezone-perl seems to be involved in alle of the bug reports … Thoughts?
