I switched over from transfig to fig2dev with version 1:3.2.6~beta-1, it was never intended that someone builds a transfig 1:3.2.6a-2~deb8u1. If someone needs a 3.2.6a backport in jessie, the package should have been renamed as I did (transfig becoming a transitional package after 1:3.2.6~beta-1). Anyway this went wrong in jessie-elts and has to be solved in stretch-elts now, I suppose. > Ideally the Breaks+Replaces against transfig in fig2dev > should be bumped to (<< 1:3.2.6a-2+deb9) in stretch-elts. Since it isn't an issue in buster/bullseye/bookworm I mark these versions fixed to avoid confusion in the release team. Greetings Roland
