Package: obs-server
Version: 2.9.4-1
Severity: serious
User: debian...@lists.debian.org
Usertags: piuparts

Hi,

during a test with piuparts I noticed your package failed to purge.
According to policy 7.2 you cannot rely on the depends being available
during purge, only the essential packages are available for sure.

This problem was observed after an upgrade from stretch to sid,
intentionally skipping buster.

>From the attached log (scroll to the bottom...):

  Purging configuration files for obs-server (2.9.4-1) ...
userdel: group obsrun is the primary group of another user and is not removed.
/usr/sbin/delgroup: `obsservicerun' still has `obsrun' as their primary group!
dpkg: error processing package obs-server (--purge):
installed obs-server package post-removal script subprocess returned error
exit status 7
  Errors were encountered while processing:
   obs-server

cheers,

Andreas
